P.S. upside rite/micro59 re: HSM:

Wave now recommends an IBM 4758 PCI Cryptographic Coprocessor for servers (server class PC...see below) implementing Wave's EKMS (Embassy Key Management Server). I know at one time Wave's recommendation was an IBM server w/ HSM as I had a dialogue w/ Wave on this subject a long time ago. HSM is a pre-TCG security module used on servers, something akin to a TPM, but not a TPM. ICBW, but next step is TPMs for servers instead of HSMs.
