Rachelelise...re revenue ramp up...Let me take it one step further...and I'm sure we have all run these figures through our heads...but it bears repeating and provides the newbies as to why we are Long on Wave....BTW...there is a country song out for the past year by the name of WAVE on WAVE...I kid you not. 
2004...Number of TPMs deployed...10 million
...% activated for Waves services...10%
...Revenue from services not including lis.fees is between 20-30 million
2005...Number of TPMs deployed in PCs...100 million out 150
...% activated for Waves services...10%
...Revenue from services not including lis. fees...between 200-300 million dollars
Personally...I think that 10% activation is on the low side. One can argue whether or not there will in fact be 100 million TPMs in the market by 2005....I think that there is a very good chance of that taking place. If you were INTC or anyother large hardware company...do you want to wait for MSFT and run the risk of stagnant PC sales while everyone is waiting ...or do you create a REASON to buy new PCs/laptops NOW with similar features of Longhorn.
Now add to this level the potential cell phone market regarding the possibility of Lis. the Embassy OS
Everyone has done these calculations in their heads ...that I'm sure of. Now what if the METER reappears as a trojan horse...I can't remember who recently suggested that...but the thought did also cross the minds of some friends of mine. The trick has always been to get our operating system/applications into a device...the next 24 months will provide us with that opportunity. I'm convinced that we WILL succeed...and when we do...it will blow your socks off! Why one may ask am I so confident??? Has anyone re-visited the last few patents that we were granted lately??? While you are at it...take a gander at the patent that SSPX recently received. A few things to ponder on a slow night...The IP that Wave controls is ONE reason why I continue to accumulate additional shares.
