dws...i think the problem needs to be understood before it can be solved....ipr theft is a very subtle crime...if you really think about it.... the buyers of the products are actually taking possession of stolen property...maybe thats the angle that needs to be taken w/ this problem...much like what has happened to napster...where people now fear the $5000 knock on the door from the local hungry lawyer....i say unleash the hungry lawyers on every consumer who has ever purchased a phone w/ "stolen ipr"....that'll get someones attention....especially the buyers of those branded products...if not just send every consumer of these phones a $5 bill...telling them they either pay or become part of a future lawsuit...consumers will automatically avoid brands where there is the potential for trouble....at the same time making consumers aware of such problems.....the answers to ipr theft are there...it just takes some creative thinking
