hotmail from anyone???... only IF the bogus sender set up a fake account in the name of AC with hotmail..

The hotmail sender data displayed in the received message is applied by the hotmail system based on the account ID information! It is not determined by the sender upon composition of each email... with an option to mask himself in a thousand different IDs by mere keystrokes!

And all messages can be traced back thru servers given sufficient time... so it is dangerous to commit illegal acts aimed at fraud & defrauding people. I would not want to tamper with a company's image and assume that liability with the FBI tracking me down... or any other government investigative agency!
