I have never partaken of a ray for my sup. I have heard that the black rays are the ones with the delicious wings to eat up. Maybe you can ask your mother in law for a recipe and if just any old ray will be Tastie? Boiling water is Easy, just put the pan in the microwave for a few minutes and watch the sparks fly.
