fyi I have no idea what you are talking about with mortgages, I am retired I own 2 homes free and clear one in ft myers and one in naples

yes the market is down my ft myers home is now worth 400,000 k instead of 700,000k and my naples home is worth 700,000k instead of 1,3 million I own both free and clear and don't care about the housing market, I am not selling, just living. maybe i can still get 900,000 for naples come to think of it, but it doesn't matter,
