CKYS claimed in several PRs that they had a $25M contract with
the Department of Homeland Security. That claim was false and put forth by one man, Jim Plant. It was an instant no brainer
'one call to the homeland department' fraud case for the SEC.
CMKX was a wide reaching conspiracy of frauds by a group of many that were involved in many scams before. The SEC, DOJ and the IRS are involved in the unraveling. From what I understand, the Feds net will reach far and wide. These kind of nets take time.
