OT Story, I ordered a ticket from United.com yesterday. After clicking "yes" to bill my credit card, the site responds that there was a problem and although the reservation was posted, there were no tickets issued and to call the 1-800 service number. So I call...

I get some dude. He asks me some questions, one of them is "give me your full credit card number for verification purposes..." I said "NO. Absolutely NOT! You're some guy in India, who the hell do you think you are asking me that?"

He apologized and asked if I "minded" giving him only the last 4 digits. I said that isn't a big deal.

I am going to write a letter to United as well to tell them they are crazy, since this guy obviously can see my credit card info in full and can write it down and use it somewhere. Sheesh!!!
