If you knew anything at all, you'd know that the owner of MN1 does own several businesses. If one of those businesses trades stock, it doesn't have anything to do with MN1. For instance, GE owns NBC. But I guarantee you that if GE did something wrong, NBC would still cover it - because the journalists involved have ethics that would preclude them from ignoring the story.

As do I.

But since I said I wouldn't do the story unless I could tell the whole thing, and name ALL the names - something, I might point out, the DMN failed to do - rest assured I do know quite a bit. I know who the bagholders are. I know who did what. I have the depositions, I have the lawsuits.

There are huge chunks of the story left out of the DMN story. And no, they're not all flattering, either. But my approach has always been to be fair, not necessarily first.

Nobody tells me what to write. I'd quit if they did. I'm just wondering if you'll be so enthusiastic if the entire story comes out, not just the part that you think makes my boss look bad.
