re: are you invested in Wave?

No, I am not. I am heavily invested in Intel and am keenly interested in any and all things that are in or border on the platform and network structure. I also have a personal interest in the trusted computing space.

I am also an early member and supporter of Matt (and later Bob) and their vision for iHub, where all opinions (pro and con) of an investment are welcomed as long as they are free from personal attack, profanity, and spam. This vision is particularly focused on the public equity boards (I manage the Intel board on the site).

Finally, I am reading your board for two reasons: First because of my obvious interest as an Intel investor. Second, because if I become convinced that Wave will really play a key role in the future of trusted computing, I will probably become an investor. I don't trade, short, or play options. I try to find winners and invest. There are other companies I keep an eye on, just like I'm watching Wave. In Wave's case, I'm not convinced so far. But I'm still watching, I haven't "written them off" yet. That's why I really want to hear all opinions, both pro and con. If I only got one side of the story on this thread, it would lose value to me. I am sure others feel likewise.

I read that you are looking into starting a private thread, if it works out with Matt. If you want a pure cheerleading thread, that would be the way to do it. Of course, someone else will want to start a "pure bashing" thread to compete. Neither thread would hold much value for me. On one you would have all cheerleading, all the time. On the other you would have all bashing, all the time. What would be lacking on both threads would be the point-counterpoint exchange that inevitably illuminates new information and new ways to look at older information that an investor or potential investor would find helpful.
