Spot on John and yes fertilizer IMO is now the best way to trade the agriculture boom. Even if the cellulosic industry develops slower will will see more intensive ruminant operations seek to actually utilise the rumen and increase straw use in rations. We grew lazy with cheap grain. The rumen is an already developed technology to turn a currently near worthless commodity into a high valued commodity in meat. Lower efficiency of meat production but also lower costs if grain is to stay high and even worse for them, forge new highs.

In time it will be the end of stubble retention effectively because the opportunity cost will be too large to avoid (short term). Sustainability limits will be tested big time.
