Here is an excerpt from Rocketman's (ZROS' Chief Tech Officer Scott Fairbairn) post dated March 1 at the RocketStream Community board in response to a RocketStream beta tester who lacked the connection speed to evaluate RocketStream:
"RocketStream has another technology specifically designed to address the needs of consumers and mobile workers operating over lower-speed connections (DSL, Cable, T1, cellular, etc), which is not available for benchmarking in the beta release."
And from one of TS's updates:
The basic RocketStream product that is being beta-released is for servers on high-speed connections -- ZROS is targeting the easiest, low-hanging fruit in their introduction.
But we know that the next step is to bring RocketStream to the masses -- a "RocketStream Light" version.
For lack of a better expression, all I can add is: This is HUGE! And today's release was just the start!
