Behind the curve...

I guess my point is that the Japanese in particular (do not discount the Chinese nor the S. Koreans) have been at this longer than we have (at pace)...

Those high school programs are nothing more than a grass roots recruiting program (follow the money). It's a strategy that is as old as advertising (especially for software vendors)...and MS has shown a strong proclivtity in this, whether it has been successful for them or not (Bill Gates still has not gotten over the failure of his school program, and has not given up on it either).

Re: Coroware and MS...they aren't the only ones doing what they are doing...when you evaluate them, it should not be done with the exclusion of the universe of all the other companies who are alive and working in that arena...with strong pps and market share to show for it.
