An even larger point...

When I look at the Asian market and Robotics, I cannot avoid observing the overwhelming amount of funding and research they are throwing at it...and have been for a long time.

And what's more, the majority of it is private sector money.

If you really want to put your money on the future of robotics, you may want to breeze through some DD on their developments and programs...I would even bet that they have far more military developments than are widely known or that we are aware of.

The West IMO is late to that party...and I would place some healthy skepticism on what role INRA would have to play in the very advanced fast moving future of "real" robotics.
