I'm no tech genius so I don't fully understand the function of this technology. However, could it be possible that large companies (i.e Goldman Sach's, Apple, Limelight) could be interested in this because of the multi-functionality? It seems that Apple might also be trying to break into Video-games, where a fast economical LAN connection is key. Also iTV might be developing to incorporate interface with , multiple home computers, home-users' dvd, tivo, and even google video. Perhaps VLNT's patent fit in here somewhere?
