I don't know about you, but in my professional life, I have had many professional relationships with people exclusively through email and phone conversations. My preference is to be able to look someone in the eye and be in their presence before I decide how I feel about them. But that is not always possible.
I have found that you can learn a lot about a person over the phone. Mix that with some independant confirmation of some of the facts you might get from said person, and you can get a pretty good idea if they are on the level or not. Is that a perfect system? Certainly not, but it is better than nothing.
I called CT myself and I checked on some of the information he passed on to me. I found it to be valid and consistant. And I know where he lives (which anyone can find out for themselves in public records). This person is real.
I don't believe he is a pumper nor does the stock pattern indicate that he is. But it doesn't even matter.
If CT said the only way for you get information he has is by wearing a dress and dancing on one leg on a pogo stick while playing a bugel, then it is up to you to decide if you will do it.
From my perspective, if you want to know what he knows, call him. Those are his terms. If you don't like what he has to say or disagree with him or think he is a bold faced liar, you have every right to come to your conclusions. But don't bash a guy if you are not going to call him. I don't think those are crazy terms. And how could you possibly know his reasons for his terms unless you talk to him? Again, you are free to agree or disagree with him even on those as well.
