Are you folks still hanging around hoping ecfl will make a comeback? You're joking right? I can't believe all the post I'm reading today. You all can't be serious, can you?
OK, now what I'm going to do below is not a bash, I'm just going to add a little humor to what we already know. If you don't have a sense of humor, don't read the post.
Time for school:
1. ECFL is over...finished, not rebounding, it's run out of fuel.
2. Des removed the pr's because he knows that Ford and the rest have legal depts and he doesn't. He used their names and not the big kids are not happy. Des is trying to cover his tracks and reduce the damage. He's in cya mode.
3. He did not remove the pr's because of a lack of disclaimers. Just take your mouse and scroll up the page you're on right now and you will see his Ford/AFC pr with the disclaimer on it.
4. He's hiding...laying low. His voice mail is full..he's not answering his cell phone..he's not answering his emails either from his free yahoo email address. He's hoping that this will blow over if he just stays down long enough. This time that approach won't work because he now has media attention.
5. He's not huddled with his staff or board of directors at his office...he doesn't have a staff...he doesn't have an office. We know now that he fled his greenville office in the middle of the night. We know he only has a ups maildrop. (And don't tell me again that lots of business, like your telephone company have ups maildrops or PO boxes, because it's not the same thing - those business also have buildings and lots of employees.)
6. You've heard no response from TFT, except for the quote in Bethany's story, were they state they have no agreements with ecarfly. If this merger was real then they would have stated it. You can bet these guys were blindsided by Des and are now asking Crocodile Dundee for some advice! Des was smart to pick a company on the otherside of the world, it bought him time. While they were sleeping Des was pumping & dumping.
7. There will be no merger. Des has a track record you can not ignore any longer. Go ahead, hold your breath and turn blue by next week if you want to...but it's not going to happen...the merger I mean, that isn't going to happen...you turning blue if you hold your breath until next wed, yeah, that will happen!
8. You will not see a PR from Des tomorrow...or the next day...or probably ever again. The heat is too much for him this time.
9. Des was not on todays sec list...because all this just happened yesterday. You can bet he'll probably show up on the next one.
10. Des has no product, never has. He never sold a car on eBay, never drilled for oil and now he doesn't have a new fuel to reduce carbon for you to use in your pick up truck! My guess is that his next scam will be selling carbon offsets to movie stars!
11. Don't blame Bethany. She's an experienced reporter just doing her job. If Des had anything to say in his defense, anything at all, he would have contacted her by now and she would have put it in a story. He's had plenty of time to get in touch with her and put out his side. He didn't do it.
12. You should all be honored that she is here talking with you. She has a lot of experience and everyone here should listen and learn from her.
13. No one knows anything about this guy. Ask yourself, do you know were he comes from, know where he's worked, know where he's been as a CEO before, know his education? Did he even finish high school? Do you know anything, anything at all about his history? If you answered "yes" to any of the above questions, then you have failed this exam! A real CEO at a real company puts out a bio to gain investor confidence.
School is over for today. There will be a test on wed after the merger doesn't happen.
Ok, school is over, go ahead and bash me if you must, but be polite and follow the rules Flatsfox has laid out.
