Hey everyone, a bunch of nice research, or DD as it were, being done here. One thing I would like to find some clarification on is VideoLan vs. Videolan Technologies inc. Are they the same thing? I did a google search (one of many) for Videolan and found that VideoLan is an open-source application created in Europe by college students, and it is an ongoing project. It plays several different file types and has built in codecs for the player etc. VideoLan (VLT?) would not seem to be under patent from VLNT, Videolan Technologies inc. I'm sorry I don't have a link to the information but I would be glad to find it and post it if anyone is interested. I guess my main concern here is that if VLT and VLNT are not correlated in any way, that this is made clear to all of us who are watching and waiting for VLNT to move! Thank you.
