I have already taken a huge loss from last year...more than the 3k allowed...and this year, in Feb....I cut some more of my holdings, after conversing with a premier broker in my hometown, ...and just this week...I got rid of even more shares...I have a minimal amount of shares now, even the Walrus would tell me to sell my shares, as he has done to others, as I have only about 3% of what I had when I started. What I have left, is just enough to hold so that I can cover my wash..it gives me something to look at now and again...and I JUST got back yesterday, last night, after being away for 9-10 days---so maybe it is why I am looking things up today...and why you see so much of my gibberish posting on the board, of late...about 90% of what I had, I have taken a loss on....bit the bullet...I put some money into a couple of other stocks yesterday, and they have gone up...and now I am left with only $37K loss, to make up,on TKO, carried over from last year to today.....that does not include what I wrote off the year before, nor for last year.....As much as I dig around and pay attention...and as much as I really wanted to be one of those people who could say 'I made a killing on the stock market with this one stock"...It has not happened as we were led to believe, 2 and 3 years ago, and I don't think it is going to happen anytime soon, either...maybe not for several months....
We 'hear' things and the tendency is to believe those things--ESPECIALLY if it is news that would move the company forward, without checking out the feasability if it is even possible...and then when something off the wall happens, which 'doesn;t compute' (remember that cartoon show?)...and the pps goes down--I have to ask, search, research, resson, think, analyze....and try to figure out WHY certain things are said, and whether it is the complete picture of things to come, or if no one really knows anything, and whether someone is just pulling the wool over our eyes, so that we cannot see what is really there! My brother has always told me I had potholes in my 'street smats'.....The only way I know to fill them up, is to gather as much information as I can, to fill up that pothole, so that I won't have to step into another one, on another stock, down the road.
I did a quick google on S-3, to find out what an S-3 filing was done for....and do you want to know what I found? About the 4th or 5th link down, on my search results, was a link to when Digital Angel (DOC), Ron;s old company..where they did the same thing...ie...filed an S-3 to authorize more shares for sale..with the exact same wording on many of the paragraphs, as to the risks of company failure. Two companies, 2 different 'markets', the same law firm for both, the same people....I gotta tell ya...the patterns, the people involved, so many similarites have made me a bit nervous about whther or not I can TRUST the 'players' in this stock and this company. So I have divested as much as I can, for now. Should things turn around, I have a core from which I can add to....AND I SAY THIS SINCERELY.
