I predict that Finread eventually runs with a smart card keyboard as part of a TCG NGSCB platform. awk, Doma or perhaps yourself would be better qualified than I to run down the technical particulars of how that would work. The problem with Finread is who wants to supply consumers with a smart card reader, and certainly consumers don't want to buy the reader. I predict that a smart card keyboard will be standard equipment in trusted computing, the cost will be invisble, and that will be the Finread implementation.
