I do believe the .27% is just the concentration. 20 mil pounds of uranium is 20 mil pounds, not 54,000. If it was 100% average grade, it would be 20 million pounds of ore, that happened to be pure uranium. Here we have 20 million pounds of uranium in (20,000,000/.0027) 7.4 Billion pounds of rock. So they need to extract 7.4 billion pounds of ore, refine it, and the will be left with 20 million pounds of pur U3O8.. another note for geologists, its u3o8, the letter o, not zero, to represent the chemical composition of the Uranium Oxide.
