"SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) -- Intel Corp. Chief Executive Paul Otellini on Monday said he expects the pricing market for computer chips to remain "very competitive" for the foreseeable future. Speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology Conference in San Francisco, Otellini didn't give any updates to Intel's current first-quarter earnings and revenue forecasts, which currently estimate gross margins of 49% and revenue between $8.9 billion and $9.3 billion. Otellini said Intel's goal remains to maintain its historical range of between 72% and 86% of the market of PC microprocessors."

And if in the course of Intel getting back to >80% market share
AMD happens to fall down a financial open elevator shaft, well
its only business. wink
