When I was very young I thought it was the Polo Grounds then the Giants left town. Then I became a Yankee fan for life. And I loved the Mets in 1969 and saw them in person win the WS. Then they gave the team away.

I realize $100M is a lot to walk away from but there is a mystic of playing for the Yankees. Cole's childhood dream came true when he signed with the Yankees.

We'll just have to wait and see about Soto.
