Pitching costs a lot these days, but the Montas money seems a bit rich for a guy who's injury record is much more detailed than his pitching record.
On the other hand, Seve and Maenea definitely worked out well beyond expectations last season, so the Stearns and team know what they're doing. IMO Mets fans will feel fine about Montas once Burnes or Fried is inked. The old cliche about never having too much pitching has never been truer.
