ok folks ordered my first Unique Pizza....started at the basic, cheese. Cheese is very good and gets the vote of a reorder from me. We have a lot of pizza places around here as you can imagine being in student country.....some I don't return to because I don't like them. Unique is a return for me and next I'm going to try their 6 cheese pizza. The dough was different from any pizza I've ever had. Usually if I like the cheese the dough leaves a lot to be desired. Not Unique's. It's a thick, soft feel. Chewy rather than crunchy. Again, that's a plus for me. My understanding is they have the dough specifically made for them. I see a new product coming from here.....my dog, who NEVER eats the pizza pieces I give her ATE Unique's, each and every piece I gave her...since we're in yuppy territory here I can see a pizza for Fido in the works....

Will Newell was there along with the 'cook', another guy who was working along side will prepping many ADVANCE pizza dough probably in anticipation of the crowd. This is STUDENT MOVE IN WEEKEND all over Boston and Cambridge. And when I went to Harvard Square this AM it was quiet, when I went back a little while ago it was the USUAL MOB SCENE....people everywhere. They had a cashier there as well.

The face to your business is the person(s) behind the counter. They scored with this 'cook'. He's a pro. He's personable, knowledgeable (worked at a major competitor for years), a local kid, driven, self assured and assertive. The combo is a winner. My first impression of him was 'a real good catch'

Now let's sit back and wait for the progress of this store....
oh btw I ALMOST forgot....there were people in the booth. One booth, but since it opened at 11, not bad, huh???

ok, progress and #'s from the Unique Harvard Square store is next for me.

And.....NEXT store announcement????? Let's see. We're expecting a lot and I'm thinking we should be hearing from Milwaukee soon too....they are the other Master Franchise owner (meaning they and the Mass/CT/NH/RI Pittorino/Nyberg combo are the only 2 master franchise owners so far.)....

And..we're expecting a PA store.
