Well, you're back in first place again, which surprises me. From the east coast games I've watched, Baltimore seems like the hungrier team. Yankees seem to have the solid lineup, but their play looks complacent. Has Boone lost interest? Has Soto had the negative effect in the clubhouse that he has had elsewhere?
There's a lot to be said about team chemistry and I don't see it with the Yankees.
Meanwhile, A.L. MVP will go to Judge over Witt, but Ohtani is having the most incredible year overall. Over 100 RBI's batting leadoff? And a great chance to have 50/50 for the first time in history? Gotta really start considering whether he is more impactful than Babe Ruth. Too bad he's not pitching.
