Well, last night's game certainly got exciting at the end. The Ump suddenly decided it was a great time in the 9th to shrink down the strike zone. A score of 10-2 turned quickly into 10-6, but sadly, there were no yankkee fans left in the ballpark, as almost all chose to leave in the 8th to avoid the razzing. It was an unusually quiet crowd as they had little to cheer.
How about that great Langford catch to end the game??!! No one mentioned it here. Did you all quit watching too?
A question for any fans here......aren't you all bothered by how little effort your outfield seems to put in? Can't tell ya how many times I watched Judge lope to the ball or toss it in to the wrong base. And what about Soto?? He let Langford take the extra base to 2nd on a short fly ball to right field! I can't believe Boone doesn't get on your players for lazy defense....or the fans??
Just my opinion, of course.
