To the best of my knowledge and information, as of last week no request has been made to UL for a pricing quote to test and certify any of their equipment. Even though Holcomb uses some UL listed materials in his “system” (whatever it is) the HES system is not UL listed nor certified, and in my opinion would have serious insurance underwriting liabilities should anyone install one of these (whatever it is) in their facility. It would be wise to notify both your insurance company AND your local utility before even thinking about getting involved with this to make sure all parties agree. I am of the opinion the building insurance company would drop the client should anyone have one of these installed.

It’s too dangerous, especially with the knowledge that it lacks ANY industry classification. And, I seriously doubt it will ever, ever, be installed on a yacht with any marine classification.

It will not pass.

Prove me wrong

First stop…UL

They haven’t bothered
