have a riding mower for yard and fence lines,
this is a bigger sized remote control
mower for use on hillsides that can't
be bush hogged safely...
still not as wide as a 4 ft bush hog,
but close enough to save on time...
think that there may be a design flaw
under this bigger one than the way the
smaller 20 to 30 inch yard size are made...
this bigger model has a protective
square box under the engine and
attached to the deck...
rear of that metal box attached under
the deck is made about 4 inches too
long to the rear, it goes back about
that much more than to the front...
when the blade spins the bolt holding
the sharper, cutter blades is spinning
under that rear box because it is
too long there versus the front...
and if the mower impacts something,
that could make the blade pop up there
and must be what sheared off the bolts...
it seemed to be on flat ground when
it finally hit self destruct mode...
can only make sure that the flattest
part of carriage bolt is on top,
alas. that puts a bigger lock nut on
bottom to potentially impact something...
Can't remember how it looked when it
was first delivered before using it...
may have to baby the beast...
tech support has been zero so far...
so we watch...LJ
Gee Beav, rithmatic isn't usually this hard to read!
