My son was fortunate he had a good pediatrician that recognized the problem and after numerous tests as I mentioned prescribed Adderall which allowed him to excel through grammar and high school. Once he was old enough he started seeing a psychologist to understand the problem.

Along the way I continued to learn more and more about ADHD and pretty much understand the causes now.

My only suggestion today is for parents to pay more attention to their kids. I coached youth baseball for 10 years and could tell the kids who had ADHD and ADD.
