In my experience, Canadian short sellers don't use FINRA member firms, because FINRA is an American institution, so they don't report their short positions to any FINRA database.

I think DBMM is heavily shorted because when a company makes it to the caveat emptor list that usually means stock revocation which means a short never has to cover... it's literally free money for the short even if the short shorts the stock at a very low price.

But DBMM escaped the caveat emptor list trapping many shorts. And as guys like me find out about it and invest heavily in DBMM... the predatory shorts become the prey.

I still need to do more research, but I like DBMM as a short destroyer investment. The outcome is inevitable.
