Tesla is upgrading the Cybertruck’s electric motor

Tesla is now upgrading the Cybertruck’s electric motor with a more “efficient and reliable” motor.

Tesla has started to contact some early Cybertruck owners to tell them that they will change their electric drivetrain.

The automaker says that it is about conducting a study of early Cybertrucks.

At select owners’ next service visit, Tesla will change one of their drive units for free. Tesla says that the new drive unit has “improved efficiency and reliability.”

However, it could also be Tesla finding a problem with the existing drivetrain, and this is a soft start of the retrofiting program.

Yes that. Tesla isnt replace the motors for free simply because it optimized the engine out of the goodness of their hearts. Companies normally sell these sorts of upgrades. Its doing this because theres a problem!

It’s got to be a problem they are fixing, no way would they replace them just to improve efficiency.

It sounds like this is a soft recall, they don't want to call it a recall but there's likely something seriously wrong with the motors and they're trying to hide the fact by claiming efficiency and reliability boosts. The reliability part makes me think they've found a flaw that will cause problems later so better to deal with it now than when things start breaking.

Im curious if this is related to the Cybertrucks accelerator/brake issues? Like if the motor isnt shielded properly causing it to emit more EM radiation leading to glitching.

Guys I had my Truck for less than 350 miles. something happened i cant explain... I was driving like usual and when coming into a turn releasing the accelerator but the speed wasnt reducing... so i pressed the brake... but it didnt engage.... until it was too late and i hit a signal light pole, also airbags didnt deploy.

Here are some pics of damage

Could it be that there is a strategy to distract people away from looking at the basic data?
Is all this an exercise to create more and more forum verbiage to drown out any serious discussion of evidence?
