speaking of DJ (who I wish would find a spark)---his troubles at the dish have also morphed to the field a bit as he has clearly lost a step....

You can say that, the play he didn't make at 3b against the mets was comically bad, He just can't move anymore. Why injury, age, it is really irrelvant at this point. The end result is you will never see the DJ yankee fans fell in love with again. Rice looks like he can hit, but too be fair, I will say the same thing about him as I said about Gil the league is gonna adjust, than it is how they adjust back on whether they will be successful or not in the long run. And verdugo since the homer against the red sox, another player who has stunk lately, but longer-term you might want to sit him against lefties in a world where dominguez and stanton are back in my opinion.
