tomato plants in raised bed looking marvelous
after 22 days with no rain,
10 minute sprinkle late today,,,
have a window a/c unit with 2 tiny holes
drilled into bottom on rear to drain...
have a 5 gallon bucket and 2 gallon bucket
under each hole to collect dripping water...
average collecting about 6 to 8 gallons of
water daily to water tomatoes and a few
other flowers around yard...
dumping the water 2 times daily to
make it lighter loads...
new a/c units don't come with drain holes
now for reason, and it must be done with
small drill bit Very Carefully, barely piercing
the bottom metal, pipes above there...
So we watch...LJ
