Captain Keith Duncan lived in Phoenix, Arizona.
He was a single father.
He was a US Airforce Pilot. Most recently, he was a Pilot for JetBlue.
He died suddenly while snorkeling in Curacao during a layover. He suffered a medical emergency.
This is the 7th pilot to die suddenly in the past 2 months.
"He would always check-in with me frequently about flying, weight lifting/exercise, life, etc. He always had that larger than life swagger and that NYC boisterous, low key humble brag persona. But he was very down to earth and he'd literally give you the shirt off of his back."
"We are still awaiting the results of the autopsy, but I'm fairly certain that Keith suffered a medical event (perhaps a stroke) which rendered him unable to swim or even remain buoyant. In addition to being an accomplished helicopter & airline pilot, Keith was also a Master Diver. And anyone who knew Keith was well aware of his fitness and physique."
"While he and his beloved girlfriend, Jessica, were not too far from shore, nobody could hear her screams as she desperately tried to swim him back in. By the time help arrived, he still had a weak pulse and they spent 30+ minutes trying to resuscitate him. Tragically, to no avail."

May 24, 2024 - Australia - 53 year old pilot Michael James died from cancer diagnosed in April 2023
April 20, 2024 - Delta Airlines Pilot - 39 year old Brett P Johnson of Carver, MN died unexpectedly in Cancun, Mexico by “accidental drowning” while on a work trip
April 17, 2024 - 34 year old Pilot & Instructor Nathaniel Jackson collapsed after coming home from the gym and did not respond to CPR.
April 9, 2024 - US Airforce Pilot - 47 year old David Andrew Brown died suddenly & unexpectedly
April 7, 2024 - 61 year old Pilot Professor Joseph Izatt, was manning a Cirrus SR-20 flight on April 7 afternoon when he collapsed, slumped over the controls and died due to a heart attack.
