That happened to me once. The delivery just didn't arrive. So about three days later, I got a notification from Amazon saying it had been "lost", and they'd refunded the money to my account.

And then about four days after that, it appeared. It was pretty small, so I think it must just have slipped into a place where the driven didn't see it. It's never happened since.

Right now, I'm waiting for a grocery delivery from Amazon Fresh. The driver is five stops away. I am following his progress.
