Maybe, but it was also probably a requirement of Partnership talks, which always require NDA's for this type of conversation. I believe if those were real, and no evidence they were not, they probably were for just those conversations and in effect for whatever duration the conversations stay relevant for potentially future business dealings.

Beyond that, I doubt the NDA's ever covered anything else. With the incestuous relationship ENZC and SAGA has/had, there was no NDA involved there, and the only time NDA's were ever mentioned, was about the time ENZC posted that they were in talks for future partnerships and licensing agreements. Every time my company has to get into a software partnership for new clients, I have NDA's dropped on me, almost before the email exchanges start. The projected figures from any such agreement in Biopharma relations are much higher figures than any $$$ my company ever gets into.

If ENZC decries "NDA issues, we can't divulge yet..." and it's not about conversations with potential partners, yes, I'd suspect that is a lie designed to dodge some embarrassing/sensitive information they don't want to expose or have to expose.

This is nothing new, but saying the NDA's were never real, not smart. They probably were, and probably abused for their own PR/advertising issues online.
