Are the C shares discounted? I don't recall that they are, and if so it's not very significant. Sure, having C shares available to certified (i forget the technical term) wealthy investors, any direct purchase dampens the demand on the open market, BUT WTF dude, the company needs cash to keep going. They are a pre-revenue company, surely you know what the hell that means. When they go to hedge funds for an offering like the latest you see what those guys do (not necessarily SIO themselves), they ran the price down sure as shit. So the price goes down and then they have to give a discount on the lower price too. Getting cash through the C shares beats the hell out of that.

Getting MAA approved will presumably reprice the shares and add to a lot more demand. Why sweat the small stuff in the meantime, if you are long? Are you long or short? Again if you really are long then endless whining and bashing management is a dickhead move, IMHO.
