The NY Giants was the first team I ever rooted for Broke my heart when they left NY so I became a Yankee fan. Growing up I was an Eddie Matthews and Harmon Kilibrew fan. Then Mickey, Whitey and Rod Carew and Reggie Jackson. Yogi and Posada and Bernie. Tom Seaver, Sparky Lyle, Guidry and Pettitte.

And Arod since he had the sweetest swing I ever saw.

Willie and Joe D of course. They asked Willie who was the best player he ever saw and it was Joe D. After his HoF induction he said I guess I am.

I'm a fan of the game as opposed to being a fanatic. MLB has screwed up the game I once knew. But no one seems to care and that is just fine with me. I'll just keep railing against what MLB has become.
