I though the story was going to take a different turn.

Woman walks into a delicatessen and asks how much the pastrami costs.

Guy behind the counter: $ 15 a pound.

Woman: $ 15 a pound? The delicatessen 1/2 a mile from here sells it for $ 12 a pound!

Guy: Well, then I suggest you buy it there.

Woman: Well I would, but he's out of it.

Guy: When we're out of pastrami we sell it for $ 10 a pound.
