Methinks, if you want to watch an interesting interview with UBER’s ex-CSO, I highly recommend it!! You can sense the pulse of current CSOs and that pulse is HIGH!! He is saying that the responsibility should be with the board of directors and CEO!! Whether it’s the CEOs, BODs or CSOs fault shouldn’t be the focus here!! The focus should be on the President with an executive order and/or Congress to make the activation of hardware security (TPMs and SEDs) mandatory like a seat belt law!! That would take the stress off CEOs, CSOs and BODs as they would have to be spending money on better security (ie Wave)!! The security is already built in for heaven’s sake!! Why is everybody so STUPID and forming all these committees!! The TCG was formed over 20 years ago and has been tested and proven and I think Japan and China possibly are going to have a leg up on this Trusted Computing paradigm shift!! Wave has the solutions to protect data, devices, and networks!! It’s pretty simple, but we either have a lot of ignorant people or just stupid people running the show!! As you pointed out the Japanese are going to act fast and China will be right behind them!! I think the Asians are smarter than us except for the likes of Wave employees and Sir Steven Sprague!!!! Maybe Wave will have an easier time partnering again with the Asians than the U.S. who blew off Trusted Computing many years ago because all of Japan is behind the TCG as it has its own forum for Trusted Computing!! And look where we are now…Well if you listen to Joe Sullivan in this video you’ll hear about the true nightmare that organizations’ security is in!! And after hearing him speak and witnessing what’s going on with the current market, we haven’t learned a lot about using Trusted Computing for better security!!! I am really disgusted to say that I think the Biden administration, Trump and Obama have made a mess of this nation’s cybersecurity along with the big culprit in Microsoft!!! Let’s come together RIGHT NOW!!!!
