. I figure $5 / share is a good cutoff. Another rule of thumb is to avoid stocks that have an extremely active I-Hub board. Check out the CTAS board for example -- almost no posts, and it's a phenomenal performer with a super steady chart, a 30+ bagger since 2010. The busiest boards on I-Hub are almost always the worst performing stocks. Everyone is looking for the big score, but they end up with the opposite.

I go for solid DD- got into LWLG around a buck.

Wouldn't touch CTAS with someone else's 10 ft pole. Known Mafiosi affiliation and not immune to correction. (I know whereof I speak, worked for Balistreri affiliated restauranteurs in Milwaukee in the '70's,)
