There won't be short squeeze until there is an approval and even then I doubt that there will be much of a squeeze. The shorts have a lot of money to work with and would try to ride the price spike out and short it back down.

Even with GME and a 140% of the OS short position the shorts brought in hundreds of millions of Dollars trying to ride out that squeeze.
Avxl has about a 25% short position. It not even remotely in the same category as GME was.
