Except for 2 years of covid I go back at least once a year to recharge the batteries. In April my son and I went since he had gotten us tickets to see the Yankees on opening day weekend. Taught him how to take the subway and where you could find good deli's and pizza joints etc. He wanted to go to the World Trade Center museum Knowing full well I didn't want to go. In hindsight I'm glad he insisted since he was only 2 back then and I realized it was more for him to see than me.

I won't go back. But they have done an amazing job above ground with the land the buildings once occupied.
