Methinks, I think it’s obvious that Microsoft doesn’t push for the activation for TPMs in older computers because with Wave these computers would become secure computers and there wouldn’t be a need right away to upgrade to windows 11!! That’s where they are making money!! There is no incentive for Microsoft to get behind better security in promoting Trusted Computing in their SFI (Secure Future Initiative)!! Maybe the governments of the world need to give Microsoft a kick in the nuts and the TCG should make Wave its new leader!!! Just think how much better the world’s security would be with Wave and Trusted Computing in the driver’s seat and not Microsoft!! The world doesn’t need Microsoft’s empty assurances anymore for what it thinks is going to be good security!!!
