I respect the hell out of Lebby. He’s not a perfect CEO but I truly believe he’s the right man for the job. If he ever left the company, I would too. I would love to see a younger industry person with a business/finance background join as CFO. And yes, many shareholders believe Marcelli has overstayed his welcome. He played an important part, but the company is too mature for him to handle.

I won’t say I’m worried. This is 100% the real deal. The technology undoubtedly works and finally at the specs the industry needs. Commercialization will happen and I have no doubt many transceiver companies will offer modules with these modulators.

I hope Lebby can announce a Tier 1 partnership sooner in the process. He said he’ll do that “if it makes business sense” like the AMF announcement.

I know they’re shipping arrayed modulators to customers for testing. Someone in the lab told me that. He used the words “arrayed” and “customers”. So at what point can a collaboration be announced? I don’t know.

With all that said, I still believe completion of the 4x200G PIC chip is a 2024 item. I’d hope once that is complete/optimized, the first transceiver collaboration can be announced and with that announcement comes a timeframe for module completion and sampling.
