Well we do know for a fact that this HES “thing” will never be installed in any public facility, private building, or any other structure that has active insurance company inspections as HES has documented in publicly released videos they lack the knowledge of the NEC 2020,2021, and NFPA 101 and probably NFPA 70 and probably a dozen other life safety standards aimed at the prevention of killing people through structure fires and electrocution, in my opinion.
I saw this a few years ago in photographs showing blatant dangerous installations of electrical systems in the LaCoste, Texas facility of SHMP. I forewarned investors that SHMP wasn’t building a facility, but rather building the mother of all fires. Few believed me and I was heavily ridiculed on their board for my “basher” thoughts. Less than 100 days later, the building was reduced to ashes. I was not at all surprised.
In my opinion, somebody is going to get hurt or killed by this “thing” that Holcomb et al purports to create electricity, as I believe it to be very unsafe based on the photos and videos I have seen on the internet, in my opinion.
It should be noted ASTRA/Holcomb seem to be dragging their feet or outright refusing to carry through with their own publicly disclosed written intent to submit the HES systems to Underwriters Laboratories for independent testing and certification “The UL Label”
Forget ASTRA showing up at another boat show, their system would never make it through Lloyd’s or ABS or Bureau Veritas classifications. NEVER, NOT EVER
I would say in my opinion, the installation of such a device would be grounds of such magnitude to deny an insurance claim.
In my opinion, these guys are literally playing with fire.
Based on the lack of effort shown by ASTRA/Holcomb to get a UL certification, it isn’t very hard to come up with many reasons why they haven’t already. They haven’t even taken the first step by submission for the price quote that UL will charge them for the testing.
This is pathetic.
Now call me a basher, but please while doing so, point out where I am factually wrong
