I guess I used the wrong terminology by calling it 'raw'. When we were kids, we had a special pot designated for making the popcorn in. A little oil, some kernels and some heat were all we needed.

Then of course, in the other pot we melted a bunch of butter. After the completely bland popcorn was done popping we'd pour it into our special tupperware popcorn bowl, salt the shit out of it, then pour the melted butter on and mix it up by hand.. Voila! Movie time!

We are too spoiled these days.😎
