nokia just cant believe that idc was able to NEGOTIATE a fair rate out of sony ericsonn....im sure they had fifty scenarios where they didnt have to pay or could forever delay paying idc....among them... ericy goes out of business,sony/e breaks up,ericy wins at trial,ericy loses at trial,ericy exits the handset business,idc goes belly up,idc gets bought out for a pittance by a cross liscencee,they buy idc for a pittance,idc goes bankrupt...etc etc...im sure IDC getting a fair settlemnt from ericy going forward was way down the list in chuckle territory when the deal was signed in 1999...so now nokia is NEGOTIATING for a more FAIRERER rate...and people want to jump out the window at the thought of NEGOTIATIONS being revealed by the court
