LOL folks can be a bit obsessed with different things.

I don't share the obsession with hockey. But it is the weekend.

As a kid I was twice treated for Frostbite from staying out skating on the lake too long in the cold. If lake was not fit for skating we played street hockey in the summer the winter in slush whatever with those rinky dinky nets that would fall over on any shot unlike the goal nets they have now for the kids. I will walk by them and laugh they are better nets that the rinks i played Junior in. I grew up where anyone could play the AAA teams - Your parents did not have to shell out $10k for a 12 year old to play on the AAA travel team. But we lived and breathed the sport. I played Coached and Officiated

But folks get awful obsessed with their NFL MLB and NBA teams and college too. All I know is Toronto is now in a very dark place pro sports wise. Leafs fail again with high expectations and no cup since 1967. Raptors AWFUL, Jays struggling early. At least the new Womens Hockey team is good
